Our CLASSROOMS

GARDEN

This room is designed for children six weeks old until walking. In this room, we follow each child's natural rhythm for eating, sleeping, and playing. We believe consistency is key, so we make it a high priority to work with parents to keep their infant's schedule. As the child gets closer to transitioning to the next room, we try to establish a cohesive class schedule where multiple children eat, sleep, and play at the same time. With its spacious layout and separate naping room, your little one is sure to feel right at home! As an added feature, we’ve also included a private nursing room for mothers who require timely feedings at pickup or drop-off.

FARM

Farm Room is designed for children who are fully walking. This room is more structured, especially for the older children. We have snack time and lunch time together, as well as start to introduce group art and music. We still refer to the child's schedule when it comes to sleeping (especially when they are first moved into the class); however, by the time the child is ready to move up to the next class, we transition them to a group schedule and sleeping on a cot, rather than in a crib.

FOREST

Our Forest Room is all about transitioning your child from the infant stage into the toddler stage. The curriculum for this class includes twelve units of "bite-sized" Bible lessons for toddlers with 60 lessons total. Additionally, students will begin to learning letters, numbers, shapes, etc, as well as particiapte in activities like art and music and play-based learning. Children will have a set time for snack, lunch, nap, and play, and will begin each day with Circle Time. We also work alongside parents when it comes to helping their child potty train. Requirements for this class include: being able to sit at a lunch table rather than in a high chair, drinking from sip cups rather than bottles, confidence when walking.

JUNGLE

Our Jungle Room is set for little explorers! This classroom is for children who are ready for more structure and learning. We start off each morning with Circle time, as well as an interactive, slow-paced, curriculum called "God's Little Explorers". Each day is filled with group activities such as art and music, as well as independent play. Children will have a set time for snack, lunch, nap, and play. We also work alongside parents when it comes to helping their child potty train.

DESERT

{3-YEAR PRESCHOOL}

Desert Room is for children who turn three by September 1st as set by state guidelines*, and who are fully potty trained. We use Bible Truths: A-Z curriculum in this class, and incorporate additional units like hygiene, the five senses, and more! Children will have a set time for snack, lunch, nap, and play. We encourage each child to nap after lunch, but simply laying quietly or reading a book is acceptable for those who do not fall asleep.

*All prospective preschoolers are required to be evaluated by the teacher—either during the tour or by separate appointment—to make sure that the child is ready to begin preschool.

POND

{4-YEAR PRESCHOOL}

This room is the smaller of our two 4-year preschool classes, and is for children who turn four by September 1st as set by state guidelines*. We use My Father's World Pre-K 4's curriculum, "Voyage to Discovery" in this class. The curriculum is a year-long, faith-based program that includes alphabet and numeric learning, as well as focuses on large and fine motor skills. We encourage each child to nap after lunch each day, but simply laying quietly or reading a book is acceptable for those who do not fall asleep. Independent and guided play will take place in the group play area outside of the classroom. We believe that keeping the learning room and playroom separate helps children understand the expectations for each area.
